GROVE SOCCER TRAINING
Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers about our programs, training sessions, locations, registration policies, and what your player should expect.
What ages do you work with?
Grove Soccer Training offers programs for players ages 5–17. Sessions are grouped by age and ability so every player can learn at an appropriate pace, build confidence, and continue progressing.
What programs do you offer?
We offer several training options based on your player’s needs:
- Private 1-on-1 training
- 2-player training
- Small group training
- Seasonal group classes
- School and after-school programs
What can my child expect during a session?
Every session follows a purposeful progression. Players learn a technical skill or game concept, practice it through engaging and high-repetition activities, and apply it in a structured small-sided game or scrimmage.
Our goal is to help players confidently transfer what they learn during training into real game situations.
What skill level is required?
All skill levels are welcome. Whether your child is playing soccer for the first time or currently competes on a club or school team, training is adjusted to meet the player where they are while continuing to challenge them.
Who leads the training?
Programming is led by former NCAA Division I and semi-professional players with extensive coaching experience.
Our coaches focus on more than soccer technique. Sessions also encourage confidence, discipline, resilience, decision-making, and a lasting love for the game.
Where are sessions held?
Training is offered at several locations throughout the Nashville area, including:
- Mana Sports Complex in East Nashville
- Partner schools and community locations
- Select fields in Davidson, Williamson, and Sumner Counties
The exact location is included in the program or booking details before registration.
What should my child bring?
Players should arrive with:
- A water bottle
- Shin guards
- Indoor turf shoes or athletic shoes, unless otherwise noted
- Comfortable athletic clothing
Cleats with outdoor spikes are not permitted on indoor turf surfaces.
Does my child need previous soccer experience?
No previous experience is required. We work with first-time players, recreational athletes, and competitive club and school players.
Activities are adapted so each athlete receives an appropriate level of instruction, challenge, and encouragement.
What happens if it rains?
Indoor sessions continue as scheduled. If severe weather affects an outdoor session, families will be contacted with information about any cancellation, location change, or rescheduling plan.
Can parents stay and watch?
Yes. Parents are welcome to watch from designated viewing areas. We ask families to allow coaches to lead the session so players can learn independently, work through mistakes, and build confidence.
How do I register?
Registration and private-session booking can be completed through the Grove Soccer Training website. After submitting your registration, you will receive confirmation and program details before your first session.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Registration fees are refundable when a cancellation request is received at least 72 hours before the scheduled program start date and time.
Refunds cannot be issued for requests submitted after that deadline.
Is Grove Soccer Training responsible for injuries?
Soccer and athletic training involve inherent risks, and injuries may occur despite appropriate coaching and safety precautions.
By registering, parents or guardians acknowledge these risks and agree to the waiver, release, and liability terms included during registration.
